The Patternmakers Arms Duffield

We recently completed a Victorian floor tile installation as part of the renovation of the historic Patternmakers Arms pub in Duffield, Derbyshire. The pub itself holds a rich history and is a beloved heritage landmark in the area.
The design and supply process for the floor tiles was undertaken by Alternative Tiles, a reputable tile shop in Derby. Recognizing the pub's significance, they dedicated hours to meticulously crafting a design that would pay homage to its heritage. With great care, they curated a selection of tiles that reflected the unique character of the Patternmakers Arms.
Once the design was finalized, we were chosen to carry out the necessary preparations and tile installation. Our team diligently prepared the space, ensuring a sturdy and level surface to accommodate the intricate Victorian floor pattern. The installation process involved placing each tile with precision, creating a stunning and authentic representation of Victorian aesthetics.

The finished floor is awe-inspiring, and it was an honor for us to be part of creating a lasting piece of history. We take immense pride in sharing that since its installation, this project has been shortlisted for two prestigious awards. First, it received a special commendation at the "Behind the Tiles Awards." Second, it is nominated in the "TTA Awards" under the best heritage category, set to take place in May.
Following the completion of the renovation, the venue is now fully open to the public in Duffield, Derbyshire.
