This particular project required the removal of an ensuite bathroom to make way for a new staircase leading to a loft conversion. Despite the reduced floor size, our team was determined to create a functional and spacious wetroom that exceeded our client's expectations.
A standout feature of this wetroom is the large walk-in shower, expertly fitted underneath the newly installed staircase. This clever design choice maximizes space without compromising on luxury. To further enhance the functionality and aesthetics, we installed a wall-to-wall his and hers vanity unit crafted by Dansani, accompanied by a Geberit concealed wall hung cistern and Duravit toilet. The choice of top-quality fixtures extends to the use of Hansgrohe brassware, ensuring longevity and timeless design.
To guarantee a watertight and comfortable space, we incorporated a waterproofing system and underfloor heating supplied by Schluter Systems. In order to accommodate a high-powered shower fan and new spotlights, we installed a false ceiling. The inclusion of plaster-in spotlights and a plaster-in tile vent contributes to the cohesive and visually pleasing ceiling design.
Every aspect of the wetroom was meticulously addressed, including a complete overhaul of the plumbing supplies. Additionally, we replaced the existing floorboards and plastered walls to create a fresh and immaculate environment. To add elegance and functionality, a large recessed mirror cabinet made by Keuco was fitted into the studwork above the sink.
The aesthetic appeal of the wetroom is enhanced by the use of large-format grey marble-effect porcelain tiles. These stunning tiles, along with matching mosaics in the shower floor, add a touch of timeless sophistication and elevate the overall design.
