Andrew Hindes Interiors recently completed a comprehensive renovation project in Ilkeston, refreshing three key areas of the home: the main bathroom, ensuite, and downstairs toilet room. This multi-room transformation showcases a harmonious blend of functionality and modern design, perfectly suited to the homeowners’ needs.

The main bathroom underwent a complete reconfiguration, with all walls re-plasterboarded to create a solid foundation for the new layout. We installed new plumbing and electrical systems to facilitate modern fixtures. The highlight of the renovation was the installation of a new toilet featuring a concealed cistern, which was thoughtfully boxed and tiled in for a clean appearance. Additionally, a larger bath with a shower feature and a bath overflow filler were incorporated, offering both elegance and practicality. The new vanity unit, complemented by brushed nickel brassware, added a touch of modern luxury. The walls were adorned with white zellige-style brick tiles, while the floor was finished with rustic plaster-colored porcelain tiles, creating a balanced and inviting atmosphere.

The ensuite also received a complete makeover, once again re-plasterboarded and fitted with updated plumbing and electrics. In this space, we chose a rustic pink brick effect tile that adds warmth and character. To maximize usability, we installed fitted vanity furniture that seamlessly incorporated both the toilet and wash basin, optimizing space without compromising style. A new shower was also integrated, enhancing the functionality of the ensuite.
