Rempstone Bathroom Project
November 27th 2022
In November, our team undertook a bathroom renovation in another Grade 2 listed home in the village of Rempstone.
First of all, our team had to install all new electrics, plumbing, plasterboarding the walls, and the ceiling. Furthermore, the floor was out of level and required additional timber to re-level it which was particularly challenging as it was an old house. Once we had completed this preliminary work, we began the main design and installation phase.
To create a luxurious and elegant feel, white marble effect tiles were chosen and installed on both the walls and floor. For the shower area, we opted for a bold design statement and installed a darker marble effect tile as a feature. Although the darker tiles were not book matched, we carefully laid out all the tiles before installing them to ensure the veins matched through as seamlessly as possible.
For ultimate indulgence, we installed a whirlpool bath with LED lighting that was ideal for relaxing and unwinding after a long day’s work. In addition, we also installed LED lighting in the shower niche that complemented the design of the room and added character to the space.
Overall, the completed bathroom renovation in Rempstone provided both functionality and elegance through carefully selected wall and floor tiles, luxurious bath and shower, and tasteful vanity units. The new fittings added a modern, yet classic look to the room, which perfectly suited the heritage character of the property.
