Bathroom Transformation: From Brick to Luxury
We are thrilled to unveil our latest bathroom renovation project—a comprehensive transformation that involved completely stripping the old bathroom back to its brick shell. This ambitious project allowed us to create a stunning, modern space that prioritizes both functionality and style.
Starting from the ground up, we meticulously relocated the sanitary ware, including moving the external soil stack, to optimize the layout of the new bathroom. With all new plumbing and drainage systems installed, we've ensured reliable performance to meet the demands of daily use.
One of the standout features of this renovation is the expansive shower area, expertly formed using a Schluter wet room shower former combined with Schluter waterproofing. This system not only provides a sophisticated, streamlined look but also promises long-term durability and ease of maintenance. To enhance comfort, we installed Schluter underfloor heating, turning the bathroom into a cozy retreat all year-round.
The shower area itself boasts a generous recess. We selected large-format light grey stone effect tiles for the walls, complemented by light grey wood effect floor tiles that seamlessly flow into the shower area, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere.
Adding a touch of elegance, we incorporated a bespoke “Harvey George” vanity unit featuring a solid surface worktop and an undermounted sink, combining style with practical storage solutions. The concealed Geberit system and toilet enhance the sophisticated design while ensuring a minimalist aesthetic.
For ultimate relaxation, a stunning semi-freestanding bath was installed, serving as a perfect centerpiece for the room.
We also completed the renovation with all new electrics, incorporating modern amenities such as recessed spotlights, a sleek mirror with integrated lighting, a toothbrush charger, and a high-powered shower fan. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to enhance both functionality and aesthetics in this luxurious space.
