Modern Shower Room Project
We are excited to share the details of our latest renovation project, where we transformed an outdated, leaking bathroom into a sleek and modern shower room. This comprehensive overhaul brought new life to the space, showcasing our commitment to quality craftsmanship and contemporary design.
The renovation began with a complete gutting of the old bathroom, allowing us to address underlying issues and start fresh. We installed all new plumbing and electrical systems, ensuring reliability and safety in this new space. The walls were plasterboarded, followed by waterproofing of the shower area to provide long-lasting durability and protection against moisture.
At the heart of the new design is a low-level dark slate effect shower tray, which seamlessly integrates into the overall aesthetic of the room. We've chosen dark stone effect tiles for the walls and floor, creating a cohesive and sophisticated look that enhances the modern feel.
Brassware was an important consideration in this project; we opted for sleek matt black fittings that perfectly complement the dark tones throughout the room. The modern wall-hung vanity unit provides both style and practicality, offering essential storage while keeping the floor space open and easy to clean. Additionally, a toilet with a concealed Geberit cistern was installed to maintain the clean lines of the design.
The shower area features a stunning full-width recess, elegantly tiled with a slate effect feature tile that adds a focal point and character to the space. This thoughtful design choice not only enhances visual appeal but also enhances functionality, providing an inviting area for relaxation and rejuvenation.
