Bilborough Bathroom Project

15th October 2025

This bathroom was a full refurbishment, stripped back to allow for a complete upgrade in both layout and finish.

New plumbing and electrics were installed throughout, giving us the flexibility to rework the space and ensure everything was positioned with both function and flow in mind.

Large-format marble-effect porcelain tiles were used across both the walls and floor, creating a seamless, high-end finish with minimal grout lines. The natural veining adds movement and depth to the room, while keeping the overall look clean and refined.

The shower area was fitted with a low-level tray and enclosed with brushed brass-framed glass, bringing a warm contrast to the stone tones. A recessed niche was built into the wall and finished with herringbone tiles, adding a subtle feature and practical storage within the space.

A freestanding bath sits as a focal point, paired with wall-mounted brushed brass fittings and a matching herringbone backdrop to tie the design together. The vanity unit was chosen to introduce a softer, natural texture, balancing the harder finishes of the tiles and brassware.

Finished with coordinated brass details, soft lighting, and a neutral palette throughout, this bathroom delivers a modern, luxurious feel while remaining practical for everyday use.
