We are excited to share a case study conducted by Schluter Systems on our bathroom project in Sutton Bonnington, set in a charming Grade II listed building. This project was not without its challenges, but we are proud of the outcome and the innovative solutions we implemented.
The Sutton Bonnington project required meticulous planning and execution. We faced the task of rerouting years of old pipework to ensure a modern plumbing setup while maintaining the building's historical integrity. Additionally, we opened up the space by knocking down some walls, creating a more spacious and functional floor plan that enhances both aesthetics and usability.
This project involved extensive work in boarding and plastering, allowing us to prepare the room for Schluter's exceptional waterproofing and uncoupling systems, which are vital in ensuring the longevity of our installations.
